Runoff Results: Moore Wins Senate Nomination; Wahl and Robertson Advanced
Barry Moore won the Republican nomination for Alabama’s open U.S. Senate seat Tuesday, with John Wahl (lieutenant governor) and Katherine Robertson (attorney general) also advancing in unofficial returns. In Baldwin County, voters picked their two local winners — and split from the state in two races. All figures are unofficial until certified.

Unofficial results. Statewide runoff nominees were set Tuesday night in unofficial returns with all 67 Alabama counties reporting. Baldwin County’s two local races were all but complete, with one precinct still out (county returns as of 9:20 p.m.). Everything here is unofficial until certified. Notably, Baldwin County split from the statewide result in two races — agriculture commissioner and the Democratic U.S. Senate runoff.

Harris led the May 19 primary just short of a majority, forcing this runoff. He advances to the Nov. 3 general election. It is one of the few entirely local offices on the ballot.

Frances Holk-Jones Wins

Joe Freeman
47.71%
Holk-Jones, the incumbent first elected in 2022, held off Joe Freeman in the runoff and advances to the Nov. 3 general election.

Baldwin County went the other way here — Christina Woerner McInnis carried the county with about 72% — but Corey Hill won the nomination statewide.

Baldwin County preferred Dakarai Larriett, about 58% — but Everett Wess won the Democratic nomination statewide. Wess faces Barry Moore in November.
