The seven requests, listed under the New Business section of the agenda, are:

  • UR 26.05 (Item 3.F) — 305 Fairhope Avenue.
  • UR 26.06 (Item 3.G) — right-of-way near 5 North Church Street.
  • UR 26.07 (Item 3.H) — right-of-way near 452 Fairhope Avenue.
  • UR 26.08 (Item 3.I) — right-of-way near 100 North Bancroft Street.
  • UR 26.09 (Item 3.J) — 319 Magnolia Avenue.
  • UR 26.10 (Item 3.K) — right-of-way near 108 North Section Street.
  • UR 26.11 (Item 3.L) — near 850 Sea Cliff Drive.

Each item is listed on the agenda as a separate request and is described identically as a "request of Verizon Wireless for the installation of a new small-cell wireless service pole."

Small-cell wireless installations are low-power antennas typically mounted on existing utility poles or short standalone poles, used by carriers to expand network capacity and 5G coverage in dense areas. The Fairhope agenda does not include the proposed pole heights, designs, or anticipated installation timelines.

The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026 at the Fairhope Municipal Complex Council Chambers, 161 North Section Street.
